Lucca June 2016 In anticipation of another world-class event, Tissue Italy has announced the board of management for iT’s Tissue 2018, which has now been confirmed for June 25-29, 2018.

2016 06 17 074115Sergio Casella assumes the role of President, supported by four Vice Presidents: Mauro Celli, Marco Dell’Osso, Massimo Franzaroli and Rudy Michelini.

The It’s tissue 2018 operations team also includes Maddalena Marcone, Project Manager, Walter Tamarri Network General Secretary and Stefano Bortoletto as Administration Manager.  In addition, all 12 participating companies will be represented in working groups to cover every aspect of It’s Tissue’s promotion and management.

The new board expressed its thanks for the skill, experience, effort and time devoted by the outgoing board to the previous two events. Thanks to their dedication and vision, the second edition of It’s Tissue proved inspirational for the sector with more than 1,000 visitors from around the world visiting Lucca in the last week of June 2015. This is an increase of more than 42 percent on the debut event in 2013.

With substantial resources dedicated to project management, logistics and cooperation between the participating companies, It’s Tissue in June 2018 promises to be the most enlightening tissue technology experience yet seen in the industry.

Tissue technology is one of many industries to be limited by the traditional exhibition format because of the sheer size of the equipment involved. This is where It’s Tissue, a week’s worth of open houses and other events, really plays its part. The participants can see, hear and touch technology, working with real products.

The 12 companies forming the Tissue Italy network are: A Celli, Elettric 80, Fabio Perini, Futura, Gambini, MTC, Omet, PCMC, Pulsar, Recard, TMC and Toscotec. Some of the companies are competitors while others offer complementary solutions. All share the passion for tissue technology synonymous with Lucca, Bologna, Reggio Emilia and Lecco.
