ANDRITZ honored with award for "Best Business Partner" by Solikamskbumprom, Russia

On the occasion of the 75th anniversary of JSC Solikamskbumprom, ANDRITZ was awarded a certificate of recognition as the company’s "Best Business Partner". The celebration was held on July 20, 2016, in Berezniki, Russia, with around 300 guests attending, including government officials, customers, suppliers, and other business partners of Solikamskbumprom.

"We have awarded this prize to ANDRITZ based on our excellent relationship and ANDRITZ’s continuous support in mechanical pulping for almost 20 years. Our relationship has always been characterized by respect, responsibility, and professionalism, with a common approach of facing and resolving the challenges of our joint projects," said Mr. Victor I. Baranov, President of JSC Solikamskbumprom, expressing his recognition and thanks to ANDRITZ. "We look forward to continuing this cooperation, also in the ongoing project for the sulfite washing plant, which is to be started up by the end of 2016, and in future joint projects."

The foundations of the successful relationship between ANDRITZ and Solikamskbumprom were laid in 1999 with the first thermo-mechanical pulp mill project. Further mechanical pulping projects followed, including rebuild of the TMP lines 1 and 2 to modern ATMP systems that started up in 2013.
