“Versatility has always been a key feature of the DNS® brand. For the professional printing market, a hybrid paper that can be used on various presses is a convenient and cost effective means of optimising printing stock,” explains Johannes Klumpp, Marketing and Sales Director for Mondi Uncoated Fine Paper. “We recommend DNS® performance to printers who need to combine the advantages of offset and digital printing.”

DNS® performance presents particular benefits to printers, creative industries and publishing houses for specific applications and machine use. As an uncoated paper dnsroll 3well-suited for both black and white and colour reproduction, DNS® performance targets transactional and direct mailing markets for applications such as invoices, statements and legal documents. Furthermore, digital printers can rely on the paper’s digital machine compatibility for personalised marketing materials and on-demand custom printing. DNS® performance also has a traditional offset shade that is favoured by the book printing industry.

DNS® performance is produced at Mondi SCP in Ruzomberok, Slovakia — a mill known for having a low carbon footprint and winning the 2010 PPI Award for Environmental Strategy of the year. As a sustainably produced Green Range paper, it is also PEFC™ and EU Ecolabel certified.
