Xerium to Participate at ANEX 2015 Nonwovens Exhibition and Conference in Shanghai, China and AFCP Jornadas Celulosico Papeleras 2015 in Buenos Aires, Argentina

- ANEX 2015 Nonwovens Exhibition and Conference in Shanghai, China May 13-15. Xerium will showcase its latest machine clothing and rolls technology at Booth W11 in Hall 1 at the Shanghai World EXPO Exhibition and Convention Center. In addition to the exhibit, Mr. James Taylor, Global Director Sales & Marketing for Specialty Products & Services, will present a technical paper titled “Xerium Engineered Fabrics, Belts, and Roll Products for Enhanced Web Production.” Mr. Taylor will also review the company’s newly developed SMART®Technology now operational for nonwoven converting applications. With over 560 SMART Technology installations worldwide on paper, packaging, and other industrial machines, Xerium has now successfully applied the real-time dynamic nip monitoring technology on nonwoven fabric machines. Mr. Taylor will deliver the presentation on May 13, 2015 from 2:10 – 2:40 PM at the Technical Conference.
- AFCP Jornadas Celulosico Papeleras 2015 in Buenos Aires, Argentina May 13-15. Mr. Leandro Antonio Raimundo, Sales Manager – Export, will present a paper titled “New Technologies in Roll Covers – Polyurethane and SMART Roll” from 5:00 – 5:30 PM on May 13, 2015. The conference is located at Parque Norte – Golden Center // Av. Cantilo y Av. Guiraldes in Buenos Aires.

Xerium Launches Huycon Air Belt Technology for Nonwoven Airlaid Applications

An extension to the globally established Huycon portfolio, Huycon Air incorporates a 2-1/2 layer base fabric with a fine-mesh product side with engineered air-channel-geometry for excellent web formation, retention and release. Huycon Air also incorporates conductive yarns cross-linked by a specially engineered conductive edge sealing providing superb static electricity dissipation. Xerium Asia Pacific Qualified to do Business as a Regional Operation Center in the China Pilot Free Trade Zone
Xerium Technologies, Inc. (NYSE:XRM), a leading global provider of industrial consumable products and services announced that it’s 100% owned subsidiary Xerium Asia Pacific (Shanghai) Limited (“Xerium Asia Pacific”) recently qualified to do business as a Regional Operation Center in the China (Shanghai) Pilot Free Trade Zone, joining a select group of qualifying companies. This is beneficial to Xerium from multiple angles, including (1) improving financial flexibility by more effectively managing its global cash and liquidity, (2) gaining the ability to access regional financial markets, and (3) reducing order lead times as a result of its strong customs rating and expedited customs clearance.
Furthermore, Xerium’s Asian headquarters will move to China, enabling it to consolidate Asian corporate functions through a shared service facility, which will simplify local customer relationships and generate cost savings. Xerium Presents a Technical Paper at Tissue World 2015 in Barcelona, Spain
Xerium Technologies, Inc., a leading global provider of industrial consumable products and services, announced that Bill Butterfield, executive vice president and chief technology officer, presented a technical paper at this year’s Tissue World Barcelona on March 17, 2015.
Mr. Butterfield also presented a paper titled “Improving Tissue Machine Performance With New Fabric, Felt and Roll Cover Technology”, as part of the Yankee Dryer Optimization session.
He also previewed the company’s newly developed SMART®Technology for tissue suction roll applications. With well over 550 SMART Technology installations worldwide on paper, packaging, and other industrial machines, Xerium has now included new functionality on vacuum applications providing tissue makers with better diagnostics and performance analysis for process optimization.
