Acosense runner-up in Swedish Cleantech Business Awards

Acosense was selected one of two runner-ups in the prestigious contest Swedish Cleantech Business Award. Minister of Energy, Anna-Karin Hatt was present to announce the winner. The competition was organized for the seventh consecutive year by the Swedish Energy Agency and was held March 14 at the Swedish Congress and Exhibition Centre in Gothenburg during the event Nordic Energy Outlook.

- It is important to highlight the new innovations and businesses that have the potential to be really successful and which also contributes to the bridging of the energy system and reduces climate impact. It is one of the reasons why we are organizing this competition

The jury consists of venture capitalists and investors in technology-based companies. Criteria which the jury looks at when rating companies is the performance of the presentation, the team, the benefits of the product and its market potential.

In the prize ceremony the Minister of Energy, Anna-Karin Hatt, shared her views how important efforts are to highlight the next generation of growth companies in the energy sector.

Acosense shared its second place with Heliospectra that develops lighting for greenhouses. Winner of the competition was Tomologic, offering an optimized cutting process for manufacturing industries.
