Alfa Laval – a world leader in heat transfer, centrifugal separation and fluid handling – is one of the official partners of the Swedish pavilion at the World Expo 2010 in Shanghai, China. From today to May 29 the company presents its innovative technologies within the area energy, the environment and food. During these days about 3 000 customers will attend an extensive seminar program, consisting of 40 seminars about the company’s latest products and solutions to contribute to a more sustainable city.
“Today the society is looking for new solutions to solve our energy and environmental issues. But the fact is that much of what we need is already available”, says Lars Renström, President and CEO of the Alfa Laval Group. “At World Expo we will present our innovative solutions to create a more sustainable future – solutions that represent a business opportunity for our customers”.
During five days about 3 000 customers will visit Alfa Laval at the Swedish pavilion to attend a seminar program consisting of 40 seminars around the innovativetechnologies within the area energy, the environment and food.
Among the seminar topics are; waste water – how to process raw sewage into pure water, heat recovery – the most effective way to meet the increasing energy shortage and at the same time reduce CO2 emission, and food processing – mixing techniques that prolong the shelf life of the products.
