Kadant Inc. recently expanded its product lines with the acquisition of M-Clean Papertech AB, a Europe-based supplier of paper machine fabric and roll cleaning systems. The acquisition was completed in May 2011 and the company will be re-named Kadant M-Clean AB. Based in Husqvarna, Sweden, Kadant M-Clean AB manufactures the MultiJet™ modular cleaning system used for fabric and roll cleaning. The acquisition of the high-efficiency cleaning product line expands Kadant's water-management product line and will be sold and serviced by Kadant's existing global sales and service network.

"With more than 350 installations throughout Europe, China, and Asia-Pacific, the MultiJet product line adds increased depth to Kadant's water-management offerings to the paper industry and further strengthens our market position in Europe and China," said Jonathan W. The new MultiJet Twin S is m-clean papertech AB´s latest development and a complement to our existing MultiJet^®.

MultiJet Twin S high pressure cleaning system targets paper machine dryer fabric and forming fabric applications. It uses high pressure water in combination with an effective evacuation and air knife system. All water and all removed contaminations are evacuated outside the paper machine by active vacuum and compressed air.

MultiJet Twin S increases machine efficiency and maximizes the lifetime of your dryer and forming fabrics with improved paper quality, improved machine stability, reduced number of web breaks, energy savings and overall improved machine runnability.

MultiJet Twin S dryer fabric cleaner can operate either continuous or intermittent, all units simultaneous, or one by one. Cleaning is done during paper production without any negative effect on the paper.

MultiJet Twin S offers an efficient cleaning and operating principle that meets the high demands of keeping dryer and forming fabrics clean in combination with simplified maintenance and minimized service needs.

In order to support our expanding business in China and Asia m-clean papertech AB opened a project office in Shanghai 2010-03-01. In addition to project handling this will also be our Asian center for service and after market with stock of most common spare parts.
